Ultimately, BofA is not predicting the overnight disappearance of the human insurance agent, nor is it suggesting that massive corporations like Coca-Cola will suddenly buy complex insurance policies from a chatbot. However, BofA warns that an agency business currently perceived as having 3% to 7% organic revenue growth could see that slip to 1% to 5% in the face of disruptive technology.
